Springfield’s drinking water once again gets a clean bill of health.

City Water Light and Power has released its annual water quality report, showing that the drinking water produced by the utility continues to meet all state and federal environmental standards.

There were no violations of any contaminant level or other water quality standard. CWLP maintains a 24-hour laboratory where chemists and water plant operators continuously monitor and adjust water quality at every step of the treatment process.
