The ongoing construction and renovation work at Lanphier High School has closed a portion of North Grand Avenue for the next several days.
North Grand is closed from 11th Street to Michigan Avenue for the installation of a water main related to the upgrades at Lanphier.
The work is expected to take multiple days, but the exact completion date is weather-dependent. Lanes will be closed until road surface repairs are complete.
Drivers are advised to follow the detour signs and take an alternate route if possible.
