Pride is happening this weekend! It’s something I’ve been looking forward to since last year’s parade. Pride is such a wonderful celebration for so many reasons, and this year, its set to be one for the books.
If you’ve been to past celebrations, you know it’s definitely a family friendly event – so bring the entire crew down for a day and enjoy honoring love and inclusion.
Everybody loves a parade! The Pride Parade, sponsored by Molina, kicks off at 11:30 a.m. on the corner of South 5th and Allen Streets. From there, it will head north, ending at South 5th and American Legion Drive, right in the heart of PrideFest! They will officially kick off the celebration with a ribbon cutting on the Main Stage at noon.
After they cut the ribbon at noon, the fun continues with day of entertainment, food, drink and activities!
