A public hearing is planned for Monday afternoon in Springfield to discuss plans for a new residential complex to serve downtown and the medical district.
The Adirondack Community Development project seeks to establish a “targeted TIF district” to build the Lofts on Madison at 5th and Madison.
The plans call for commercial and retail space on the ground floor, with five upper floors of residential units.
The public hearing will be held at 1 pm Monday in the Springfield City Council chambers, and will also be streamed on the city’s website and YouTube page.
