So, I am new to Springfield, so everything I experience is for the first second or third time if I really like a certain place. When it comes to restaurants, I have made a pretty good dent, but still have plenty left to try. Even though this is the case, I still am always on the look out for a great NEW PLACE!
I think we have something good to look forward to here. In the old Lonzerottis location there is a place that is going to open called “Proud Richards.” I don’t know this Richard but I hope he is proud of his food, because I am excited to give it a try.
“This will be a completely new concept. We’re making a fresh start, from the menu to renovations to the dining room. There will be a large focus on seasonality and utilizing local products. I’ve been speaking to some of the smaller farmers nearby, and I’m pleasantly surprised by the quality and variety of everything.”
Proud Richards will be a new concept completely. There will be a HUGE focus on local ingredients being sourced seasonally. Since we are in the heart land, this seems like a good idea. They have been speaking with local farmers to make sure that they will be getting the best and most fresh ingredients for their clientele. I don’t know about, but I am looking forward to this in a big way!
