A Springfield student is being recognized for his quick thinking when a teacher was having a medical emergency.
CACC Teacher Doug Dennis was having a stroke at the end of class on March 25.
When it happened, Springfield High School senior Jared Wools stood beside him. Wools ran to get help, and Dennis
shared gratitude for the quick action of Wools.
Wools was recognized at the District 186 School Board meeting on Tuesday night.
