Illinois health officials are raising a red flag about a triple threat of respiratory illnesses this winter.

Across the state, there has been a seasonal uptick for the flu, COVID-19 and RSV.

The guidance comes as the CDC is reporting that around 50 Illinois counties are at an elevated level for COVID-19 hospital admissions.

But there is a bit of good news in the form of the recent awareness campaign called “‘Tis the Sneezin’” to remind Illinoisans that vaccinations provide the best protection against the triple threat of COVID-19, flu, and RSV.
