Who doesn’t’ hate to drive home after a colonoscopy?

Under a bill proposed by Republican state representative Jennifer Sanalitro, at least some Illinoisans won’t have to.

HB 4230 provides that anyone receiving aid under the Medical Assistance Article of the Illinois Public Aid Code will be covered for transportation from follow-up exams where the colonoscopy was determined to be medically necessary by a physician or other qualified medical personnel.
