The City of Springfield has announced that the seasonal tree branch collection is about to start this week.
For the week of November 6, the collection will be done in the northwest quadrant of Springfield, the area north of South Grand Avenue and Old Jacksonville Road, and west of Walnut Street and J David Jones Parkway.
The southwest quadrant will be collected the next week, then the southeast and northeast in successive weeks.
Week of November 13
• Southwest Quadrant – area south of South Grand Avenue and Old Jacksonville Road. West of Walnut Street.
Week of November 20
• Southeast Quadrant– area south of South Grand Avenue and east of Walnut Street, including the properties around Lake Springfield.
Week of November 27
• Northeast Quadrant – the area north of South Grand Avenue and east of Walnut/J. David Jones Parkway.
