Emerson Polling has just released the results of a survey asking residents of various states whether they considered themselves residents of the Midwest.
Unsurprisingly, more than 95% of Minnesota, Iowa, and Missouri residents said yes, but some of the results were surprising.
About 25% of Idaho residents and 13% of West Virginia residents claimed to be Midwesterners, while nearly 10% of Kansans said no; there is still no word on where they think they live.
