Illinois Senator Dick Durbin’s office announced earlier in the week that he underwent a successful total knee replacement surgery for his left knee.
The procedure was performed Tuesday morning at RUSH in Oak Brook, Illinois.
Durbin will remain in Illinois until he is cleared to travel to Washington by his doctor.
