MLB playoffs last night, the LA Dodgers are now on the brink of elimination as they fell once again at home to the Arizona Diamondbacks 4-2. The Diamondbacks now lead the best-of-5 series 2-0. Game 3 is tomorrow night in Arizona.
Elsewhere in the NL, the Atlanta Braves fought back from a 4-0 deficit to defeat the Philadelphia Phillies 5-4. The win ties the series up at a game apiece. Game 2 is tomorrow night in Philly.
AL playoffs tonight, the Baltimore Orioles need a win to stay alive, as they are in Texas to take on the Rangers. Texas leads the series two games to none. Meanwhile, up in Minnesota, the Twins look to take a 2-1 series lead as they host the Houston Astros.
In the NHL, the regular season gets underway tonight, and the Chicago Blackhawks start the season on the road in Pittsburgh, taking on the Penguins. The puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m. CT.
