Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has initiated a recruiting campaign to lure Chicago cops to Florida.
Billboards placed in the city by the governor’s office propose a $5,000 signing bonus to city police officers willing to move to Florida.
The state has ponied up more than a million dollars in bonus money to attract police to the Sunshine State, but has managed to entice less than two dozen from Illinois.
