SPD responded to Lanphier High School bomb threat Tuesday afternoon

The Springfield Police announced that they responded to a bomb threat at Lanphier High School yesterday afternoon.

Students and faculty were evacuated from the building, and the Springfield Fire Department and Secretary of State Police responded to assist the SPD.

By approximately 2:30 p.m., the building had been cleared, and the students and faculty were allowed to re-enter the school without further incident.
