On Sunday, hundreds of runners from Illinois and surrounding states will trek through Springfield’s state fairgrounds, Lincoln Park, Oak Ridge Cemetery, and back to the fair again.
Abe’s Amble is an annual tradition at the State Fair, and the 10K course is certified by USA Track and Field and begins at 7:30 a.m.
A 5K course will also be run at the same time.
