Friends of the Chicago River and Sierra Club Illinois have announced they intend to sue the Trump Organization for violations of the Clean Water Act.
Trump Tower Chicago has allegedly underreported the rate at which it withdraws water from the Chicago River by approximately 44% since February 2013.
The lawsuit claims that hotel’s overuse of water frustrates significant public investments by the city of Chicago to improve the health of the Chicago River.
