Applications for a new round of the Isringhausen DRIVE Grant program – a sizable cash grant for new businesses looking to open in the downtown area – are being accepted.
As evidenced by the 2022 grant winner – The Wakery – the DRIVE Grant funds remodeling, inventory, equipment, advertising, and other start-up-related costs to help embolden and empower new business owners in their fresh endeavors.
Applications for the Isringhausen DRIVE Grant are open now and will be accepted until August 18.
As Isringhausen notes, “To be eligible for the Isringhausen DRIVE Grant, businesses must be new start-ups looking to open downtown or a business relocating and expanding to the downtown area. Applicants must demonstrate a clear business plan, Innovative leads, and a commitment to rostering positive community impact. The grant committee will assess applications and business plans based on these factors and other criteria designed to ensure fairness and transparency in the selection process before their presentations and interviews.”
