Springfield’s Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum is getting a significant boost of money from a renowned Chicago-based charitable organization.

The Elizabeth Morse Genius Charitable Trust is providing $100,000 to help the ALPLM develop an interpretive plan designed to shape museum exhibits and plans for many years going forward.

As an interpretive project, part of this work will require community input – which the trust grant will aid with as well.
