The Central Illinois Food Bank would like everyone across the community to consider rounding up their purchase next time they find themselves at Hy-Vee buying groceries.

And that’s because the two are teaming up as part of the Hy-Vee 100 Million Meal Challenge to get meals to individuals and families who are food insecure – a number that the Central Illinois Food Bank says sits at approximately one out of every nine people across Central Illinois.

Even if it’s only ten cents, the CIFB notes, every bit helps.

You can find out more about how you can participate on Hy-Vee.com, and hear the CIFB sit down with Greg Bishop on WMAY.com!
