United States Trampoline and Tumbling Association is holding its nationals through Saturday at Springfield’s BOS Center

Hundreds of athletes are jumping and flipping into Springfield this week to compete in a national tournament.

The United States Trampoline and Tumbling Association is holding its nationals now through Saturday at the BOS Center.

Two thousand six hundred athletes from around the country will compete in events like power tumbling, trampoline, and double mini-trampoline. Competitors range in age from 3 to 38; this is the largest national event in the group’s history, dating back more than 50 years.

The competition will be held daily from 8 am to 4 pm, and Friday is expected to be the biggest competition day of this year’s event.
