One day after being demoted from starting catcher for the St. Louis Cardinals, Wilson Contreras made his return to Chicago taking on his former team the Cubs at Wrigley. Contreras would drive in 2 runs in helping to lead the Cards to a 3-1 victory over the Cubs. Dansby Swanson drove in the Cubs lone run in the contest. Cubs and Cards battle again tonight at Wrigley.

NBA playoffs last night both the Miami Heat and LA Lakers took commanding 3-1 series leads as the Heat beat the New York Knicks 109-101 and the Lakers took care of the Golden State Warriors 104-101.
