A popular PBS Kids show will play a big role in an event Saturday at Henson Robinson Zoo.
The event will feature costumed characters from “Wild World of PBS Kids.”
The event will celebrate native plant and animal life from Illinois, and will include hands-on activities and educational materials.
The free event runs from 1 to 3 pm Saturday at the zoo near Lake Springfield, and will go on rain or shine.
