Springfield Mayor Jim Langfelder has spoken with Mayor-elect Misty Buscher, and will meet with her soon to discuss the transition.
But no date has been set for that meeting. Buscher defeated the two-term incumbent Tuesday by nearly three percentage points in a race dominated by issues like crime, public safety, and economic development.
Buscher, new city Treasurer-elect Colleen Redpath Feger, city Clerk Frank Lesko, and the new City Council will be sworn in in a few weeks, but no exact date for the inauguration has been set.
