WMAY’s Last Night-in-Sports Report: 03/27/2023

The NCAA Men’s Basketball Final Four is set and for the first time since the tourney began seeding teams no #1, 2, or 3 seeds have reached the Final Four. Instead it will be #5 seed San Diego State facing #9 Seed Florida Atlantic, while #5 seed Miami battles #4 seed UConn. The Final Four begins on Saturday in Houston.

NBA yesterday the Chicago Bulls defeated the Lakers in LA 118-108. Zach LaVine led the way for the Bulls with 32 points. The Bulls remain in LA as they take on the Clippers tonight. Tip-off scheduled for 9:30p CT.

NHL last night after giving up 5 goals in the first period the St. Louis Blues battled back and made it a game in LA ultimately falling to the Kings 7-6 the final. Jordan Kyrou scored twice for the Blues in the loss. The Blues host the Vancouver Canucks tomorrow night at the Enterprise Center.

Speaking of the Canucks they defeated the Chicago Blackhawks yesterday at the United Center 4-2 the final. Connor Murphy and Lucas Reichel scored for the Hawks in the loss. The Hawks host the Dallas Stars tomorrow night at the United Center.
