The Artist Spotlight today featured Silent Theory and their new single, “Agony.” At my last gig, the guys had the unofficial title of the most played band on The Artist Spotlight (a massive deal, I know lol). They are now back with “Agony” and this is what lead singer Dakota Jerns had to share about the song:
“This song is about learning things the hard way. No matter how many times people tell you “if you jump, you’ll fall”, you still had to try it for yourself. There’s freedom in that kind of arrogance, but when you inevitably fall, the harsh reality that no one will be there to help you, is just a consequence of the high-risk/high-reward nature of leaps of faith.”
