An Illinois favorite is making a return trip to the Illinois State Fair.
Fair officials have announced that REO Speedwagon will be the headliner in the Grandstand on Tuesday, August 15th.
The band was founded at the University of Illinois more than 50 years ago, and became one of the best-selling acts of the 1970s and ‘80s, with hits like “Ridin’ The Storm Out” and “Keep On Lovin’ You.”
No opening act has been announced yet. Tickets will range from $33 up to $100 for an all-inclusive “Blue Ribbon Zone” ticket.
Details on when tickets will go on sale will be announced at a later date.
