Georgia pilot Michael Young went viral after posting a gag video from the cockpit that many commenters dubbed an “instant divorce” prank. The video showed Young flying the plane while his wife blissfully slept in the passenger’s seat — before he pulled a stunt and abruptly woke her up. “I recorded the video a couple weeks ago on our final day of a seven-day adventure trip to a bunch of random destinations,” Young told NeedToKnow.Online.
“She was sleeping, and I felt like it was the perfect time to wake her as we were getting closer to home.” In the video, Young and his wife can be seen flying the plane in the early morning hours with Heather asleep in the co-pilot seat. Young then pulls the plane into negative Gs, a move that involves accelerating downwards, resulting in pulling passengers up out of their seats and sending blood rushing to their heads. That’s when his wife jerks awake and starts screaming at her husband.
