A public meeting is planned this week to discuss and take public comments on the planned $28 million upgrade of MacArthur Boulevard from South Grand to Wabash and Stanford Avenues.
A wide array of changes is being discussed for the 1.5 mile stretch, including better accommodations for bicycle and pedestrian traffic, curb modifications for people with disabilities, drainage improvements, and realignment to help with traffic flow.
The meeting is set for Thursday from 4 to 6pm at Franklin Middle School on Outer Park Drive. Learn more here and submit public comments here.
