Two Central Illinois men are headed to prison in separate federal prosecutions.
29-year-old Tyrell Harris of Springfield has been sentenced to ten years in prison for possession and distribution of heroin. He was found with 240 grams of the drug when officers arrested him on an unrelated firearms warrant.
In a separate case, a man from Clinton is going away for nearly three-and-a-half years for possession of child pornography. 37-year-old Arthur Hatfield had more than 17,000 child porn images and videos on various devices, some depicting children as young as five years old.
