The Illinois State Fair will offer a free electric vehicle charging station this year.
Fair officials and Governor JB Pritzker have announced that the charging facility is being made available through a sponsorship from electric vehicle charger manufacturer Sunrun. The charging station will be located in Lot 21 of the fairgrounds, near Gate 7 and Conservation World.
The charging station is capable of charging two electric vehicles at the same time.
