Springfield-based agribusiness firm BRANDT, Inc. has been a supporter of Memorial Health for a long time, and now a big donation cements that support even further.
BRANDT announced on Wednesday that they are donating $1 million to Memorial Health. 3 generations of the Brandt family were on hand to present the check, including matriarch and co-founder Evelyn Thomas Brandt who will be celebrating her 99th birthday in August. Thomas Brandt says the gift will give back to the people that have “given so much to us.”
This and other Health Care Career Education grants donated through the Brandt Endowment fund will help create a pipeline of employees to ensure Memorial Health has the workforce it needs to continue providing care.
