A Springfield High School student accused of making a threat against Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut will be back in court Tuesday.
The State Journal-Register reports the 14-year-old freshman had a first hearing on Friday, but not much happened because a court-ordered mental evaluation is still pending. Authorities say the teen had no way to carry out the threat against the school, which was the scene of a deadly mass shooting a decade ago.
But he could still face one to three years in juvenile detention on disorderly conduct charges.
