749 District 186 students are ready to start the next chapter in their lives after Saturday’s graduation ceremonies for the city’s three high schools.
Around 68-percent of the graduates are planning to attend a two- or four-year college, and graduating seniors have been offered a total of $37 million in scholarships.
Thirteen-percent of this year’s graduates are heading straight into the workforce, four-percent are joining the military, and eight-percent plan to attend a trade or technical school.
