District 186 is seeing more student and staff cases of COVID-19 as the school year draws to a close.
71 students have tested positive in the past week… with more than one-fourth of those cases coming from just one school, Feitshans Elementary. In addition, 12 staffers have tested positive over the course of the week.
Since the school year started back in August, more than 34-hundred students and nearly 700 staffers at Springfield public schools have contracted the virus.
