Some Illinois lawmakers are calling on social media companies to do more to remove anti-Semitic and other forms of hate speech from their platforms.

The lawmakers are concerned about recent incidents in which anti-Semitic flyers were distributed in several Chicago suburbs, but they say such rhetoric is also becoming more prevalent on social media.

The Simon Weisenthal Center gives most platforms low grades on policing such material… with Facebook and TikTok getting a C and Twitter getting a C-plus.
