Senator Tammy Duckworth participated in a virtual vigil held a year after the deadly Atlanta Spa shooting that claimed the lives of 8 people, 6 of whom were Asian American Women.
She says we have the ability and responsibility to fight back against the rise in violence by supporting victims.
The shooting came at a time when the FBI reported a 73% spike in Anti-Asian hate crimes.
