U.S. Senator Dick Durbin says America and NATO are doing everything they can right now to help Ukraine.

Durbin points to $14 billion in additional aid approved as part of a major federal spending bill Thursday night. He says the money will pay for weapons, equipment, and ammunition for Ukrainian forces, as well as much-needed humanitarian aid.

When asked why the U.S. can provide weapons, but not assist with fighter jets to repel Russian air attacks, Durbin says the U.S. and NATO have concluded that would be too much of a provocation and could escalate the conflict into World War Three.
