There are a lot of options in Springfield to get your self in the holiday mood. Just last night, my wife and I walked around the old state capitol. People were out on the ice rink, lights were abundant and you could really feel the holiday season among us.
If you were looking for a little bit more AND wanted to get out of the house… hit up Elf: The Musical opening Dec 3rd at the Hoogland Center For The Performing Arts. The musical is loosely based on the movie most of us know and love with Will Ferrell by the same name.
