If you talk to someone who knows me, they will confirm I like a good time. I’m always looking for different things to do with my wife and friends. Recently, my buddies over at the 183rd Wing (Airforce) here in Springfield, invited me to go ax throwing. I had seen this done before and new it was growing in popularity, but didn’t know we had a place to do it here in town.
I rolled up to Real Ax Throwing at 2920 S MacArthur Blvd. and walked in. It has maybe 10 different rows where you and friends can come and throw target practice with ax’s, metal playing cards and ninja stars! They give you a quick tutorial and off we want throwing axes. It was so much fun and after a while, I was throwing bullseye or close! It really did, “Bring Out My Inner Warrior!”
Also, if you were thinking about this, YES – you can bring your own alcohol. This makes something fun, even MORE fun…. as long as you’re responsible and don ‘t RUIN it for the rest of us!
