Super successful rapper Post Malone has a documented history in rock music prior to his breakout period where he has been seen as mainly a hip hop artist. Malone has collaborated on rock songs with Ozzy Osbourne, played guitar and sang on a Nirvana tribute stream years ago. He was also one point almost a member of metal band Crown the Empire. Now Rockfeed is reporting on this video where the multi-platnum artist who has a love for rock and metal, declares he is playing guitar on every track of a new album called ‘Austin’ which is due out in late July. Is this going to be full blown rock record?
Ozzy contributed the hook to Posty’s powerful grooving track ‘Take What You Want’. Their connection through wizard producer Andrew Watt continued as Watt produced Osbourne’s last two solo albums which have been as seen as some of his best work in his Hall of Fame career. Malone jumped into Ozzy’s outlandish wild ride track ‘It’s a Raid’.
