Nolan Arenado homered for the 5th straight game, but it wasn’t enough as the St. Louis Cardinals fell to the Milwaukee Brewers at Busch last night 3-2 in the final. Jordan Montgomery took the loss for the Cards. The Cards and Brewers wrap up their series tonight at Busch.

Gavin Sheets, Jake Burger, and Luis Robert all homered for the Chicago White Sox as they defeated the Cleveland Guardians at the Rate last night 8-3 in the final. Lance Lynn picked up the win on the mound—the Sox and Guardians battle again tonight at the Rate.

NBA playoffs last night the Denver Nuggets took game 1 of the Western Conference Finals with a 132-126 victory over the LA Lakers. Nikola Jokic led the way for the Nuggets with a triple-double of 34pts 21rebs and 14asst.

Off the court NBA news from last night the San Antonio Spurs won the draft lottery and the right to take French Phenom Victor Wembanyama as the number 1 overall pick.
