The last few years for the Foo Fighters have been a very openly hard to handle with the sad passing of beloved drummer Taylor Hawkins which is a emotional process you can feel in their new song ‘Under You’ released today ahead of the band’s new album ‘Here We Are’ due out on June 2nd. The song musically has a composition that recalls their power-pop hook-heavy early era of  the ’90’s.

It not hard to see the living grief that Dave Grohl is expressing the lyrics here:

The Foos yesterday were announced to headline Riot Fest in Chicago in September with Queens of the Stone Age, The Cure, and many more. They will also headline Louder Than Life with Green Day and several big name acts in Louisville, KY as well.

This Sunday you can cath Grohl and company in  a free live streaming concert as they tune-up for the road here.
