Appearing on a hotly anticipated episode of the Pat McAfee Show, NFL quarterback great Aaaron Rodgers addressed the rampant speculation that he will leave the Green Bay Packers and his future in pro footbal. Rodgers in a deep conversation shared his recent experience at an aggressive ‘darkness retreat’ in February, and more.

The Super Bowl Champion revealed with a very insightful and transparent look at the whole situation, said he wants to leave Green Bay for the New York Jets. “I haven’t been holding anything up at this point,” Rodgers said after confirming that he does want to play for the Jets. “It’s been the compensation that the Packers are trying to get for me.”

Rodgers also shared that entering his five days of isolation on a “hippie mountain” he was “90% retired” from football, but the situation had changed within the Packers organization to trade the beloved QB. This seemingly contradicted plans for Rodgers believe were in place that would allow him to retire as a Packer that were stated to him. “They want to move on, and now so do I.”
