For the second week in a row, hot weather has forced the cancellation of the scheduled free Tuesday night performance by the Springfield Municipal Band.
The band usually holds weekly concerts in Duncan Park. But just like last week, a forecast of heat, humidity, and high heat index readings led the city to cancel tonight’s performance.
The Muni Band is scheduled to perform at the Edwards Place Ice Cream Social Friday afternoon, and outside the Lincoln Presidential Museum Saturday morning… and will return to Duncan Park next Tuesday night.
