Robin Hood is turning out to be this year’s biggest box office bomb. The movie featuring Jamie Foxx and Taron Egerton took in just $14 million over the five-day Thanksgiving– weekend despite having a budget close to $100 million. And with a global launch of just $22.8 million, Robin Hood has had the worst start for any film this year with a budget of $90 million or higher.

Nike is going to start selling a Sony PlayStation sneaker on December 1st. The gray sneaker looks exactly like the game console and features red and yellow swooshes, the PlayStation logo on the tongue and PlayStation designs on the top and side of the shoe. The PlayStation logos light up.
While we know that we’re getting a Robocop reboot, a direct sequel to the very first one from the 80’s, heavy rumors state will we NOT see actor Peter Weller return to the roll. Original writers Ed Neumeier and Michael Miner are producing and exec producing while Justin Rhodes will rewrite the script that Neumeier and Miner wrote way back in the 80’s.
Get ready for Judge Jerry, America! Former talk show host Jerry Springer is coming back to daytime syndication with NBC. Springer will pick up a gavel and hit the bench in a new first-run half-hour court show set to debut in the fall of 2019. Springer has a J.D. degree from Northwestern University and worked for two law firms prior to entering TV. The Jerry Springer Show ended this summer after 27 seasons.
Amazon landed some major stars for its upcoming series Modern Love. The eight-episode, half-hour anthology will feature the likes of Anne Hathaway, Tina Fey, Dev Patel and Andy Garcia. Modern Love is based on the New York Times column and podcast.
