Warner Bros.’ Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindewald came out on top at the box office over the weekend, but it still fell below the studio’s expectations. Fantastic Beasts nabbed $62 million, just short of the studio’s projected $65 million. Last week’s topper, Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch, came in second with $38.1 million, raking in a total of $126 million domestically for Universal. Bohemian Rhapsody closed out the top three with $15.7 million. Fox’s Widows performed poorly, earning just $12.3 million. The film has earned strong reviews from critics, but the viewers aren’t showing up.

While not The Office reunion many are hoping for, this week’s host of Saturday Night Live, Steve Carell had fun teasing the idea… as did some fellow former cast members.
As reported by Entertainment Weekly, John Williams is about to grace Disney Parks with one of his very own magical scores. In honor of the new theme park land dedicated to Star Wars that’s opening in 2019 in Anaheim (and fall 2019 in Orlando), legendary composer John Williams has conjured up a brand new score, a sample of which you can listen to right now via the video below:
Jon Cryer is going to play Lex Luthor on the Supergirl TV series. Cryer will play Superman’s archenemy on the CW show… with his first appearance coming in the 15th episode of this season which will air early next year. He played Lex’s nephew, Lenny, in the 1987 film ”Superman IV: The Quest for Peace.
Thirty Seconds To Mars singer Jared Leto has shaved off the bushy, prophet-like beard he’s been sporting throughout the tour cycle for the band’s latest album, America. Leto has gone clean-shaven for his starring role as the title character in Morbius, an upcoming film based on the Marvel Comics character Dr. Michael Morbius, a biologist who accidentally infects himself with a form of vampirism.
