A Perfect Circle has released a “gleefully apocalyptic” video for “So Long, And Thanks For All The Fish” as the band continues its U.S. tour, next performing on Sunday (November 11th) in Minneapolis. The song is taken from the first APC album in 14 years, Eat The Elephant, which came out earlier in 2018.
The video is the latest in an innovative series of clips from the album, many of which were edited segments from a longer hologram film that was included with the deluxe version of the album and viewable through a special prism.
Once this tour is over, singer Maynard James Keenan will return to Tool to complete that band’s new LP and begin promoting it. As for where that leaves A Perfect Circle, guitarist Billy Howerdel told Kentucky.com, “I think (Eat The Elephant) adds to an already strong foundation for the band and will allow us to step forward. I think Maynard feels the same. We will move forward for sure.”
Eat The Elephant ended a recording hiatus for the band of nearly a decade and a half, following up the band’s 2004 covers collection eMOTive and its 2003 sophomore LPThirteenth Step.
