When the re-release of Deadpool 2 hits theaters this December, it will include all-new, never-before-seen footage. Deadpool 2 writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick confirmed with /Film that they wrote brand-new scenes for the film, which were then shot just for this upcoming release. “We definitely shot new stuff. And recently too. After Deadpool 2 came out and we were all sitting around, we came to it less about the idea of let’s make a PG-13 movie and more, ‘Let’s talk a little bit about Deadpool.’” Wernick told /Film. “We were kicking around some ideas and then I think it was Ryan [Reynolds] who had the great framing device and we all got excited and went to the studio. They said, ‘Yeah, let’s do it. Fire up the cameras.’”

The Irwins and Animal Planet are teaming up on a show 22 years after the late Steve Irwin and his wife Terri launched The Crocodile Hunter. Terri, along with son Robert and daughter Bindi, tell The Hollywood Reporters that they are determined to keep Steve’s mission alive. “Because we live right in the middle of the Australia Zoo and we have the most hands-on zoological facility on the planet, the idea is all the animals need to have a good day, they need to be having fun and interaction and it’s taking you on our journey of conservation and protecting the environment, as well,” Terri said. Crikey! It’s the Irwins is the family’s first show on a cable network since Steve’s death in 2006 from a stingray sting. Crikey! airs Sundays at 8 p.m. on Animal Planet.
A report from The Wrap indicates that Adi Shankar, producer of Castlevania on Netflix, is in talks to produce a series alongside an “iconic Japanese gaming company.” Although he noted that he wouldn’t reveal it until November 16, the report seems to suggest that the series could be based on Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda series. As for Nintendo, they simply stated, “We have nothing to announce on this topic.” More than likely, they’re waiting for Shankar to confirm the news himself before moving forward with details.
