Drummer Travis Barker has apparently been cleared by his doctors to return to work with Blink-182 after being kept out of action for several months by blood clots in his arms and related infections. Barker wrote on social media, “I’ll be back at Palms Casino Resort in Vegas with Blink-182 this month. What songs don’t you wanna hear?”
Blink’s Vegas residency started back on May 26th and was originally scheduled to continue on select weekends through November 17th. The trio will now resume the stay on October 26th and 27th, presumably playing the remaining dates after that as well.
Barker has reportedly filed two lawsuits recently. One is over a mishandled MRI procedure during his treatment for the blood clots that left him with nerve damage and a staph infection. The second lawsuit stems from a July accident in which Barker’s SUV was hit by a school bus that made an illegal left turn. Barker is suing the driver and the bus company for the crash.
