The fourth season of the drug-trafficking drama Narcos: Mexico has dropped. It features Diego Luna and Michael Pena and follows the origins of the modern drug war circa the 1980s, and the rise of the Guadalajara Cartel. Narcos premieres November 16th.
Months after losing star Amy Schumer, Barbie is dead at Sony, with the studio officially removing the toy franchise adaptation from its release calendar. There are already reports that Mattel has brought the property to Warner Bros., with an eye toward getting Margot Robbie to star.
Supergirl is going to introduce Lex Luthor this season. The iconic character and arch-enemy of Superman will appear on the CW show later this season. Casting for the role is underway. Lois Lane, who will be played by Bitsie Tulloch will also be introduced this season. And Superman, who is played by Tyler Hoechlin was introduced last season and will also be back later this season.

Halloween (-R-) A direct sequel to the 1978 classic slasher hit features the return of Jamie Lee Curtis as the iconic character Laurie Strode, who once again faces off with Michael Myers, the masked figure who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night in the original film.
—Halloween is one of the few odd cases where there is a little something after the credits, but it’s not a scene to watch. There’s simply a small tease to reveal that the story may not be over.
The Hate U Give (PG-13) Prep school student witnesses the fatal shooting of her childhood best friend at the hands of a police officer. Stars Amandla Stenberg, Regina Hall, Russell Hornsby, Anthony Mackie, Issa Rae, Sabrina Carpenter, Common.

Warner Bros. has released a new TV spot for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. The spot mostly provides fans with footage that has already been released, with snippets of new stuff here and there. Among those is a scene between Queenie Goldstein (Alison Sudol) and Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp), that certainly looks ominous.
The Favourite (starring Olivia Colman, Emma Stone and Rachel Weisz) and First Reformed (starring Ethan Hawke) nabbed three nominations each for the Gotham Independent Film Awards. The Gotham Awards are seen as the start of the Oscar season. Recent winners have included eventual Oscar nominees and winners, including Call Me by Your Name, Moonlight and Spotlight. The 2018 Gotham Awards will take place on Monday, Nov. 26.
Numerous months before the new costume debuts on the big screen, Tom Holland officially debuted the black-and-red suit from Spider-Man: Far From Home on an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live. Peep the video:
